With the Bills first loss now in the books, my predictions, like the Bills record is now 4-1. Though it was a surprise to many, this loss is a good thing to get out of the way now. It takes pressure off of the team to try to play at a perfect level every single week. However, they will absolutely have to do so in order to defeat the defending Superbowl champions.
The Chiefs, much like the Bills are coming off their first loss of the season as well and look to get back to their winning ways in Orchard Park. Will it happen? I’m not so sure. This is the toughest game for me to predict so far as both teams are so evenly matched. In both of the team’s losses, neither the Bills or Chiefs could generate any pressure to Tannehill and Carr respectively allowing both quarterbacks to take advantage. In Buffalo’s case, costly turnovers gave the Titans a short field on every scoring drive giving them a lead they never gave up.
Both teams will obviously look to try to improve on defense but the Chiefs added another weapon on Thursday signing Bell to a one year deal. The Bills will hope to get back to being healthy with Matt Milano and White both practicing on a limited basis as well as Smoke Brown.
Again, this game is the toughest to date for the Bills and really the same can be said for the Chiefs. Both teams can be electric on offense but have struggled on defense. This game truly has the makings of a shootout. Mahomes will be Mahomes. Will Allen be the Allen of the first four weeks? Bills mafia certainly hopes so as I reluctantly have the Bills winning at home, 35-31.
