The NFL has announced that Bills receiver Stefon Diggs has been named the AFC week 16 offensive player of the week for his performance on Monday Night football against the Patriots. Diggs hauled in 9 receptions for 145 yards with 3 touchdowns while breaking Eric Moulds Bills single season receiving yards record.
Diggs helped lead Buffalo to their first season sweep of the New England Patriots since 1999 and is the first Bills receiver to earn the achievement since Hall of Famer Andre Reed in 1994. During his dominant performance Stefon also became the NFL leader in receptions as well as yards. It will be interesting to see if Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott plays his key players in the week 17 game against the Miami Dolphins.
