Report: Bills trade Darryl Johnson to the Panthers


A pre roster cutdown day trade for the Bills.

The Bills are trading defensive end Darryl Johnson to the Carolina Panthers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The compensation has yet to be reported on. It comes down to a shear numbers game on the defensive line for Beane and McDermott.

In 31 games played, Johnson has 29 tackles and 2 sacks.

Update: The Bills receive back a 2022 6th round pick.
