Frank Reich had his Monday afternoon press conference and had some things to say about his return to Buffalo Saturday and the team he once played for.
On what the city of Buffalo means to him: “It’s a special place for our family. Two of our girls were born there… fortunately I’ve been back a few times since… so I feel like I’ve gotten that out of my system… I’ll always be a Bills fan except on Saturday”
“Love Buffalo, will always will love Buffalo, and will always be a Bills fan, except for this Saturday. I was a Bills fan this (past) Sunday, and they did me right.”
On the Bills as a team: “We’re going up against one of the hottest, if not the hottest team in the NFL… Personally I know Sean [McDermott] very well… he’s in the tops of the league in terms of coaches I respect.”
Frank Reich played in 93 games during nine seasons for the Bills, he threw for 889 yards and 18 touchdowns. Reich of course led the Bills to the greatest comeback in NFL history 28 years ago over the Houston Oilers.
