PFF says Bills Daryl Williams has been one of the best Right Tackles the last two seasons

Daryl Williams was rewarded this offseason with a 3 year 31-million-dollar contract. After a season where he set career highs in PFF grades for both run blocking (80.0) and pass blocking (76.9). Williams’ consistent play was a huge component into Josh Allen’s 3rd year breakout and the Bills ultimately making it to the AFC Championship.

Daryl Williams has been moved all over the offensive line throughout his five year NFL career. With over hundred snaps at every OL position except center. With the most effective position being obviously, right tackle where he has 2,851 snaps over his career.

In the last two seasons Daryl Williams has been one of the best at right tackle in both run blocking and pass blocking; grading above 78 in both facets. Only Lane Johnson, Jack Conklin, and Ryan Ramczyk have the same snap to snap consistency in both blocking facets in that span.

Daryl Williams is finally hitting his stride, and it comes at a time where the Bills are now in Super Bowl contention. Now that the Bills have rewarded him for his play and solidified both tackle positions. They now have arguably, the best tackle tandem in the league. With Williams and Dawkins both locked up for the long term, the Bills have ensured that protecting Josh Allen is a top priority.
