Bills sign WR Steven Sims following McKenzie injury

Written by Jeremy Turner-Montgomery

The Bills have announced that they have signed wide receiver Steven Sims, who was released by Washington earlier this week.

Sims spent the last 2 seasons in Washington after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent in 2019. The injury to receiver Isaiah McKenzie has yet to be given a diagnosis or timetable for return while 6th round draftee Marquez Stevenson was also injured in last weeks preseason game against the Bears. It is more than likely that Sims will be handling the returner duties with both players currently out. In 2020 Sims returned 24 punts for 160 yards while adding 27 receptions for 265 yards and 1 touchdown.
