Bills Mario Addison has high praise for 2nd year DE A.J. Epenesa

Written by Jeremy Turner-Montgomery

A lot of Bills fans were wondering what type of player 2nd year defensive end A.J. Epenesa would be coming into training camp this season. It didn’t take long for the praise to start coming. When asked about the 2nd year player Bills defensive end Mario Addison kept it simple saying “A.J. is ready. Hands down. Watch out.”

Epenesa had already recieved praise from Head Coach Sean McDermott about the amazing condition he showed up to at OTA’s back in May stating:

“He’s in great shape right now, he looks as good as I’ve seen him look. Credit to him for being here, he’s been here most of the offseason . . . He’s in a great spot now. He’s in shape, and he’s on track to have himself ready to go for training camp. What I’ve seen to this point is very encouraging.” .

A strong camp for the 2nd year pro could most certainly land him a starting role for week 1 while giving the Bills defensive coaching staff the bigger pass rusher that they are now priortizing.
